Job summary

Williams‑Sonoma, Inc. is seeking a Design Studio Specialist to inspire customers and close sales at the cash wrap. You will promote continued engagement and help customers stay connected with our brand.

You will provide one‑on‑one consultations, measure spaces, present design plans, and guide customers through design solutions while leveraging current promotions and product knowledge.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of customer service and retail sales experience (specialty retail preferred, but not required).
• Strong communication, clienteling and customer follow‑up skills.
• Ability to complete and coordinate complex large orders within multiple sales channels.

Responsibilities

• Utilize design expertise to assist clients in one on one consultations in the store and in-home regarding the design of their living spaces to drive store sales.
• Perform productive in-home consultations including the ability to accurately measure and assess the client's living space.
• Create and present design plans based on client's needs, style, preferences and living space.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions to achieve and exceed sales and productivity goals.
• Assist customers with services including gift wrap, gift registry, catalog/internet orders, special orders and furniture orders.
• Demonstrate product knowledge of the design studio assortment.
