Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Superintendent to lead multiple home construction projects from permit to closing in Reno, NV. You will schedule subcontractors, monitor progress, ensure compliance with building codes, and maintain high quality while delivering on time and within budget.

The role requires strong communication, budgeting, and customer service skills, with the ability to travel between communities and manage site safety and daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2–4 years related construction experience.
• Ability to manage and complete construction milestones and interpret plans.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a vehicle to travel among communities.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction schedule and ensure quality, on-time delivery within budget.
• Coordinate all subcontractors for each phase and ensure code compliance.
• Oversee post-close warranty process and customer communications.
• Inspect workmanship and halt noncompliant work to meet standards.
• Maintain safety standards and a clean, organized site throughout construction.
