Job summary

Cheer Home Health Care is seeking a scheduling coordinator to align caregiver availability with client needs in a fast-paced home health setting. You will pair caregivers with clients, manage daily schedules, and respond to last-minute changes while collaborating with recruiting and care teams.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of scheduling experience in healthcare, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to pass a Live Scan and TB test.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of scheduling experience in home care or healthcare.
• Strong computer proficiency with scheduling software and Google Workspace.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Able to pass a Live Scan background check and provide TB test results.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Matchmaking: Pair caregivers with clients to ensure long-term consistency and trust.
• Master Scheduling: Manage daily schedules, track staffing levels, fill open shifts.
• Rapid Problem Solving: Respond quickly to last-minute call-outs or emergencies.
• Team Collaboration: Work with recruiting to identify needs and communicate with caregivers, clients, and Cheer Care Managers.
• On-Call Support: Rotate weekend on-call every 3rd or 4th weekend.
