Job summary

Cheer Home Care is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to pair caregivers with clients, manage daily schedules, and respond to last‑minute changes. The role includes a weekend on-call rotation and collaboration with recruiting, caregivers, clients, and managers to ensure seamless care.

The ideal candidate brings 2+ years scheduling experience in home health, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency with scheduling software and Google Workspace.

Qualifications

• 2+ years scheduling experience in home care or healthcare.
• Strong organizational and technical skills; proficient with scheduling software and Google Workspace.
• Excellent verbal and written communication to build trust with caregivers and clients.
• Ability to pass Live Scan background check (LIC 9163) and TB test results.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Pair caregivers with clients based on care needs and availability to ensure long-term consistency and trust.
• Manage daily schedules, track staffing levels, and proactively fill open shifts.
• Respond quickly and calmly to last-minute call-outs, schedule changes, or emergencies.
• Collaborate with recruiting and communicate with caregivers, clients, and Cheer Care Managers.
• Participate in a rotated weekend on-call schedule to handle urgent after-hours needs.
