Job summary

Clayton Homes is seeking a proactive Home Consultant to guide customers through selecting floor plans and options, while coordinating construction and delivery steps. You will showcase model homes, demonstrate features, and convert leads into appointments and sales.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, local market knowledge, and teamwork, with ongoing training and a performance-driven compensation plan. This is a full-time on-site position with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of relationship-driven B2C sales experience preferred.
• General understanding of the retail environment.
• Ability to obtain manufactured home sales licensing.
• Learn and comply with legal requirements for selling manufactured homes.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Ability to excel in a team environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work Saturdays and other required schedule.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Ability to walk the lot and show homes in all seasons.
• Ability to move and lift furniture up to 75 lbs.
• Subject to criminal background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Help customers identify floor plans and options and coordinate the construction process.
• Demonstrate homes and explain features and benefits to buyers.
• Set appointments from CRM leads and inquiries to drive showroom traffic.
• Participate in sales meetings, training, and company events.
• Collaborate with team to ensure a high-quality home buying experience.
