Job summary

Clayton Homes is seeking a Home Consultant to guide customers through selecting floor plans, options, and coordinating construction for a seamless home-buying experience. You will show model homes, present features, and convert inquiries into appointments.

The role emphasizes relationship-driven sales, strong communication, and teamwork within a supportive retail environment. Full-time on-site position with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 6 months of relationship driven business to consumer sales preferred.
• General understanding of the retail environment.
• Ability to obtain appropriate manufactured home sales licensing.
• Learn and comply with legal requirements that apply to the sale of manufactured homes.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Ability to excel and contribute to a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify a floor plan and options for customers and coordinate the construction process.
• Coordinate the construction process to deliver the home buying experience.
• Maintain customer files and provide timely follow-up with prospective buyers via the CRM system.
• Assist manager with selecting inventory, decorating models, and maintaining home appearance.
• Set home center visits by converting ads and web leads into appointments.
• Participate in sales meetings, training opportunities and other company functions.
