Clayton Retail in New Iberia, Louisiana seeks a Home Consultant to guide customers to floor plans, options, and coordinate the construction process for a world-class home buying experience.

The role emphasizes strong communication, team collaboration, and customer follow-up, with the ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work Saturdays. A $50k base salary plus commission is offered, with extensive earning potential and benefits.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of relationship-driven B2C sales preferred.
• Understanding of the retail environment.
• Ability to obtain manufactured home sales licensing.
• Learn and comply with legal requirements for the sale of manufactured homes.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work Saturdays.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Ability to walk the lot and show homes in all seasons.
• Ability to move and lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Create a world class home buying experience by guiding customers to floor plans and options, coordinating construction.
• Present model homes and demonstrate features to add value for buyers.
• Set appointments using the prospect database and by converting ad calls and web leads.
• Maintain customer files and provide timely follow-up via the CRM.
• Assist manager with inventory, decorating models, and showroom appearance.
