Job summary

Clayton is hiring a Home Consultant in New Iberia, LA. The role focuses on guiding buyers through selecting a floor plan, options, and coordinating the construction process to create a world class home buying experience.

Ideal teammates will be ambassadors for the Clayton brand, continuously learn about mortgages, products, and local market trends, and manage customer follow-ups in the CRM. You must be able to walk the lot, lift up to 75 lbs, work Saturdays, and pass background checks.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of relationship-driven B2C sales preferred.
• General understanding of the retail environment.
• Ability to obtain appropriate manufactured home sales licensing.
• Learn and comply with legal requirements that apply to the sale of manufactured homes.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Ability to excel and contribute to a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Clayton branding and integrity throughout the sales process.
• Develop expertise in areas such as finance mortgage concepts, product, sales acumen and local market.
• Provide timely follow-up with prospective buyers via the CRM system.
• Assist manager by helping select inventory, decorate models and maintain appearance of the homes.
• Develop, refine and execute a strategic sales and marketing plan to increase home center traffic.
• Present potential buyers display homes and demonstrate features and benefits.
• Set home center visits utilizing prospect database and by converting ad calls and web leads to appointments.
• Participate in all sales meetings, training opportunities and other company-sponsored functions.
• Be cooperative and collaborative, willing to work in a team environment.
