Job summary

Clayton Retail is seeking a Home Consultant to guide customers through selecting floor plans, options, and coordinating the construction process. You will be part of a team focused on delivering a world-class home buying experience.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, product knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment, including Saturdays. A commission-based earning structure complements a base salary.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of relationship-driven retail sales experience.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Ability to obtain manufactured home sales licensing.
• Willingness to work Saturdays and maintain professional appearance.
• Ability to walk the lot and show homes in all seasons.
• Capable of lifting up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Guide customers to identify floor plans and options.
• Coordinate construction process and timelines for home purchases.
• Set appointments and convert inquiries from ads/web leads.
• Demonstrate model homes and explain features/benefits.
• Maintain customer files and perform timely follow-ups.
