Job summary

Clayton is seeking a Home Consultant to guide customers through selecting a floor plan, options, and coordinating the construction process to deliver a world-class home buying experience.

The position offers a base salary of $60k plus a lucrative commission plan with unlimited earning potential. Strong communication, teamwork, and Saturday availability are key for success in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of relationship driven business to consumer sales preferred.
• General understanding of the retail environment.
• Ability to obtain appropriate manufactured home sales licensing.
• Learn and comply with legal requirements that apply to the sale of manufactured homes.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Ability to excel and contribute to a team environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work required schedule, including Saturdays.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Ability to walk the lot and show homes throughout all seasons.
• Ability to move and lift furniture, promotional items, etc. (up to 75 lbs.)
• Subject to criminal background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Create a world class home buying experience by assisting customers to identify a floor plan and options.
• Coordinate the construction process to deliver the home.
• Set appointments and follow up with prospective buyers.
• Demonstrate products and features to create added value.
• Maintain customer files and follow up via CRM.
