Job summary

Scylla Solutions LLC is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide outpatient rehabilitation services in in-home settings for older adults, including private residences and facilities. You will evaluate and treat in the patient’s home, directing treatment and ensuring high quality client-centered care.

The role involves supervising CFYs and students, aligning with licensure standards, and coordinating with the rehabilitation team to select appropriate treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Speech Language Pathologist license in the state(s) of practice.
• Must possess or be eligible for ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or ASHA Clinical Fellow eligibility.
• Must have a valid driver’s license or reliable transportation to patients’ residences.

Responsibilities

• Supervise CFYs, temporary licensees, students and support personnel as required by state licensure and professional standards.
• Adhere to department and patient treatment schedules and complete timely clinical and billing documentation.
• Attend and contribute to patient care and staffing conferences and other related meetings.
• Make referrals to other disciplines to address patients’ comprehensive needs.
• Consult with rehabilitation team members and physicians to select appropriate therapeutic regimens.
• Adapt plan of care according to patient needs and maintain a safe environment.
• Coordinate home and community care with interdisciplinary team members and the referring physician.
