Job summary

Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. is hiring Roadway Maintenance Technicians to join our outdoor maintenance team. You will work on active highways, perform repairs, install safety devices, and respond to roadway emergencies while following MOT standards.

The role requires working outdoors year-round, physical endurance, and the ability to operate tools and equipment. CDL is preferred; on-call and night/weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean record.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Experience with highway maintenance tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform roadway maintenance and emergency response on active highways.
• Install, repair, and replace guardrails, signs, and delineators.
• Repair potholes using asphalt and concrete.
• Maintain drainage systems and mow rights-of-way.
• Set up traffic control devices and assist with MOT.
