Job summary

Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. in Texas is hiring full-time Roadway Maintenance Technicians to keep highways safe and operational. This hands-on role involves working outdoors, operating equipment, and responding to emergencies on active roadways.

You'll perform debris removal, install and repair guardrails and signs, patch potholes, maintain drainage, and set up traffic control in MOT-compliant work zones. CDL preferred; high school diploma or GED preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background screening, MVR, and drug testing.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform roadway maintenance and emergency response on active highways.
• Install, repair, and replace guardrails, signs, delineators, and safety devices.
• Repair potholes and pavement using asphalt and concrete materials.
• Maintain drainage systems, clean ditches, and ensure MOT compliance in work zones.
• Operate equipment and document work using company apps.
