Job summary

Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. is looking for Roadway Maintenance Technicians to join our outdoor maintenance crew. This hands-on role involves working on active highways, responding to emergencies, and performing debris removal, guardrail and sign repairs, pothole work, and drainage maintenance.

You will set up traffic control, operate equipment, and document work using company apps. Candidates should be comfortable with outdoor conditions, on-call rotations, and varying shifts, with CDL

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly and work safely in high-traffic environments.
• Must pass pre-employment background screening, MVR, and drug testing.
• Ability to operate hand tools and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform roadway maintenance and emergency response on active highways.
• Install, repair, and replace guardrails and traffic safety devices.
• Repair potholes using asphalt and concrete.
• Maintain ditches and drainage systems.
• Set up traffic control and protect work zones.
• Operate and transport tools and materials.
• Document work via company apps on smartphones.
• Respond to road emergencies and severe weather events.
