Job summary

Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. seeks a full-time Roadway Maintenance Technician to perform hands-on maintenance of highways, signage, drainage, and related assets. You’ll work outdoors, operate equipment, and assist with snow removal, traffic control, and emergency responses.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift 50 pounds. Regular on-call shifts and nonstandard hours may apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening and required checks.

Responsibilities

• Perform roadway maintenance and emergency response on active highways.
• Install and repair guardrails, signs, and safety devices.
• Pave potholes and repair pavement with asphalt and concrete.
• Maintain drainage systems and roadside vegetation.
• Set up traffic control devices and respond to incidents.
