Job summary

Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. is hiring a Roadway Maintenance Technician to perform hands-on outdoor maintenance on highways and related structures.

You will operate equipment, install safety devices, repair pavement, and assist with drainage and snow operations while following MOT safety guidelines. The role requires physical fitness, the ability to work in varying weather, and willingness to be on-call for storm or emergency responses.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening including background and drug tests.

Responsibilities

• Perform roadway maintenance and emergency response on active highways.
• Install, repair, and replace guardrails, signs, and safety devices.
• Repair potholes and pavement using asphalt and concrete.
• Clean drainage systems and maintain roadside ditches.
• Operate equipment and vehicles; document work via apps.
