Job summary

Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. is seeking full-time Roadway Maintenance Technicians to join our outdoor maintenance team. This hands-on role involves working on active highways, operating equipment, and supporting public safety.

Typical duties include debris removal, guardrail and sign repairs, pothole work, drainage maintenance, traffic control, and emergency response. The job requires safety discipline, MOT compliance, and year-round outdoor work.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to work outdoors year-round in varied weather conditions.
• Requires valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Preferred CDL license (A or B) and related road maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Pick up debris, litter, and roadway hazards.
• Install, repair, and replace guardrails, signs, and other safety devices.
• Repair potholes and pavement with asphalt/concrete.
• Clean ditches, culverts, and drainage systems.
• Set up traffic control devices and assist with MOT.
• Respond to road emergencies and extreme weather events.
