Job summary

Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. is seeking full-time Roadway Maintenance Technicians to join our outdoor, hands-on team. You will work on active highways, perform debris removal, and help maintain guardrails, signs, and drainage systems to ensure public safety.

Expect varied shifts, on-call rotations, and the chance to contribute to critical infrastructure maintenance. Ideal candidates are comfortable with physical work, operate equipment, and follow MOT safety protocols while documenting tasks

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely.
• Ability to work outdoors year-round in varied weather.

Responsibilities

• Perform roadway maintenance and emergency response on active highways and roadways.
• Install, repair, and replace guardrail, signs, delineators, and other safety devices.
• Repair potholes and pavement damage using asphalt and concrete materials.
• Clean ditches, culverts, and drainage systems; prevent flooding.
• Set up traffic control devices and protect work zones; respond to emergencies.
