Job summary

Salesforce is seeking an Account Solution Engineer for Higher Education to help public sector institutions modernize operations and student experiences through AI-powered solutions. You will collaborate with sales, product, and partners to tailor demonstrations that address institutional challenges and drive transformation.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of combined experience working with Salesforce or other CRM solutions, with a focus on education.
• 5+ years of experience in solution engineering, consulting, enterprise software delivery, or customer success.
• Artificial Intelligence and/or Data Certifications, Salesforce-preferred.
• Deep understanding of education operations (student lifecycle, financial aid, etc).
• Strong technical acumen with experience configuring and demonstrating Salesforce.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills; translate complex concepts for varied stakeholders.
• Open to travel approximately 40%.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Solution Cycle from discovery to close with cross-functional teams.
• Understand institutional needs and map them to Salesforce solutions in higher ed.
• Position Salesforce as a strategic partner with tailored demos and POCs.
• Translate education business processes into impactful technology solutions.
• Support RFP/RFI responses and ensure alignment with priorities.
• Collaborate across sales, services, and partners to deliver value.
• Stay ahead of education and tech trends to inform recommendations.
• Meet objectives related to customer engagement and revenue contribution.
• Participate in training and certifications to enhance expertise.
• Drive consumption and value realization with quarterly business reviews.
