Qualifications

B.S., M.S. or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering or MIS.
7+ years of combined experience with Salesforce or other CRM solutions, with focus on education.
5+ years of experience in solution engineering, consulting, enterprise software delivery, or customer success.
Artificial Intelligence and/or Data Certifications, Salesforce-preferred, related to generative AI and LLM concepts.
Deep understanding of education operations (student lifecycle, registrar, advising, curriculum management, financial aid, student success, enrollment, alumni).
Strong technical acumen with experience configuring and demonstrating Salesforce or similar platforms in sales/implementation contexts.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills for multiple stakeholder levels.
Proven ability to lead discovery sessions and craft tailored solutions for digital transformation in higher education.
Experience with RFP and proposal processes aligning with institutional needs and Salesforce value proposition.
Strong time management and prioritization skills for multiple engagements in a fast-paced sales environment.
Curiosity and passion for technology and ongoing learning in education/CRM trends.
Collaborative mindset to work with sales, professional services, product teams and partners.
Open to travel ~40% for client meetings, presentations, and events.
Salesforce certifications: Administrator, Education Cloud Consultant, Data 360 Cert, Experience Cloud.
Experience with Agentforce for Education, Salesforce Industries (Vlocity), OmniScript, or Industry Common Components is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead the Solution Cycle with account executives, product specialists, and partners from discovery to close.
Engage with education institutions to understand challenges and map them to Salesforce solutions; align to large higher education customers.
Position Salesforce as a strategic partner; prepare and present demonstrations aligned to institutional goals.
Translate education business processes into technology solutions for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Lead technical responses to RFPs and RFIs with clear value propositions.
Collaborate across teams to align Salesforce solutions with institutional needs.
Stay ahead of education and technology trends to inform recommendations.
Meet quarterly and annual objectives for customer engagement and revenue contribution.
Invest in professional growth through training and certifications.
