Job summary

Salesforce is seeking an Account Solution Engineer for the Global Public Sector Solution Engineering team. You will collaborate with sales, product experts, and partners to tailor solutions for higher education institutions, from discovery to demonstration, showcasing Salesforce platform power to optimize student lifecycles and institutional operations.

The role emphasizes translating complex education processes into scalable technology, leading RFP responses, and driving adoption of AI and data

Qualifications

• 7+ years with Salesforce or other CRM solutions in education.
• 5+ years in solution engineering, consulting, or enterprise software delivery.
• AI and/or Data Certifications, Salesforce-preferred.
• Deep understanding of education operations (student lifecycle, registrar, advising, etc.).
• Strong technical acumen with configuring/demonstrating enterprise platforms.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Open to travel ~40%.
• Salesforce certifications: Administrator, Education Cloud Consultant, Data 360, Experience Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Solution Cycle from discovery to close with cross-functional teams.
• Understand institutional needs and map them to Salesforce solutions.
• Position Salesforce as a strategic partner with tailored demonstrations.
• Translate education processes into impactful technology solutions.
• Lead RFP and proposal processes to align with client priorities.
• Collaborate across sales, services, product teams and partners.
• Stay ahead of industry trends in education and CRM.
• Drive performance goals and participate in growth initiatives.
• Invest in ongoing training and mentorship.
• Develop Agentforce and AI/Data use cases with POCs and workshops.
