Job summary

Salesforce is seeking an Account Solution Engineer for the Global Public Sector Solution Engineering team. You will lead technical conversations, understand higher education needs, and craft tailored demonstrations to address institutional challenges.

You will collaborate with sales, product experts, and partners to drive digital transformation and adoption of AI/Data solutions across education institutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years with Salesforce or other CRM solutions, with a focus on education.
• 5+ years in solution engineering, consulting, enterprise software delivery, or customer success.
• Artificial Intelligence and/or Data Certifications, Salesforce-preferred.
• Deep understanding of education operations and student lifecycle management.
• Strong technical acumen, with experience configuring and demonstrating Salesforce or similar platforms.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills for diverse stakeholders.
• Proven ability to lead discovery sessions and craft tailored solutions for digital transformation.
• Experience with RFP and proposal processes and aligning with institutional needs.
• Open to travel for client meetings, approx. 40%.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Solution Cycle with account executives, product specialists, and partners.
• Understand institutional needs and map them to Salesforce solutions, focusing on higher education.
• Position Salesforce as a strategic partner with tailored demonstrations and value storytelling.
• Translate education operations into technical solutions highlighting Salesforce capabilities.
• Support RFP and proposal processes with clear alignment to institutional priorities.
• Collaborate across teams to align solutions with institutional needs and ensure adoption.
• Stay ahead of education technology trends and drive performance toward goals.
