Job summary

Salesforce is seeking an Account Solution Engineer for the Global Public Sector Solution Engineering team. You will collaborate with sales, product experts, and partners to design tailored solutions that address higher education challenges and drive transformation across student lifecycles.

In this role you’ll lead technical discussions, demonstrate business value, and build trust with universities while advancing AI-enabled education initiatives and adoption of Salesforce platforms.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of combined experience with Salesforce or other CRM solutions, focused on education.
• 5+ years in solution engineering, consulting, enterprise software delivery, or customer success.
• Artificial Intelligence and/or Data Certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Solution Cycle from discovery to close with account teams and partners.
• Understand institutional needs in higher education and map them to Salesforce solutions.
• Present tailored demonstrations aligning to institutions’ strategy and technical goals.
• Support RFP and proposal processes with clear value demonstrations.
• Collaborate across sales, professional services, and product teams to deliver outcomes.
• Stay ahead of education technology trends and drive customer success.
