Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a POWER Testing and Energization (PTE) Experienced P&C Field Services Technician for project locations in Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma. You will perform testing and commissioning on high voltage substations, using relay test sets and field documentation tools, while adhering to safety protocols.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in electrical testing, expertise with protective relays, and proven field leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with protective relays and testing/commissioning.
• HV substations testing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing and commissioning for Protection and Control systems on high voltage substations.
• Conduct on-site relay testing using specified test sets.
• Document site activities with field forms and mobile apps.
• Support project leads and field supervisors; escalate issues as needed.
• Maintain safety practices and regulatory compliance on active job sites.
