Job summary

WSP USA seeks a POWER Testing and Energization (PTE) Lead P&C Technician Field Services for Texas and Louisiana project locations. You will lead field operations, perform testing and commissioning of protection and control systems for high voltage substations, and mentor technicians.

Strong focus on safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. You will coordinate with engineers, contractors, and project management, applying advanced relay testing skills using Omicron and Doble equipment to ensure

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 11+ years in electrical testing, HV equipment experience.
• Experience with protective relays and testing standards (NETA/IEEE/NFPA).
• Advanced relay testing/calibration with Omicron/Doble test sets.

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations for complex projects with technical guidance.
• Perform testing and commissioning of protection and control systems.
• Mentor technicians and manage site logistics.
• Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance on site.
• Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and project leadership.
