Qualifications

• College degree (Business, Sales or other related field) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Industry knowledge in building products is preferred but not required
• Must have valid driver’s license, own reliable transportation, pass MVR, and vehicle insurance must meet company requirements
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Superior time management and organization skills

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and manage customer relationships
• Utilize sales reports to recognize opportunities in customer buying patterns
• Make cold calls to prospective customers
• Follow sales leads and schedule appointments with prospective customers
• Follow up with customers and provide solutions, should a service concern arise
• Provide training to customers and their teams on various product lines and services
• Assist customers in the credit application process
• Connect with customers to ensure past due bills are paid and collect payments when necessary
