Job summary

ABC Supply, the nation’s largest wholesale distributor of exterior and interior building products, seeks talented sales professionals to build relationships and deliver world-class service. You will sell residential and commercial building materials to contractor customers and strategically grow new relationships in the industry.

Outside Sales Representatives have access to exclusive sales tools and a strong compensation package with benefits.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in commercial/building materials sales is required.
• College degree or equivalent experience in Business, Sales, or related field.
• Must have valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and pass MVR check.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and manage customer relationships.
• Use sales reports to identify opportunities and recognize buying patterns.
• Make cold calls to prospective customers and follow up on leads.
• Schedule appointments and respond to sales inquiries with solutions.
• Provide training to customers on product lines and services.
• Assist customers with the credit application process.
• Follow up with customers to ensure past due bills are paid and collect payments when needed.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
