Job summary

HomeWell Care Services in Florida is seeking compassionate CNAs and HHAs for full-time and part-time hours in Volusia County. You will provide direct patient care under supervision, assist with activities of daily living, and monitor vital signs.

Experience with dementia, ADLs/IADLs, wound care, catheter care, and safe transfers is preferred. Reliable transportation and excellent communication are essential to support patients and families.

Qualifications

• Experience with Dementia.
• Experience with ADLs and IADLs.
• Experience with limited non weight bearing patients.
• Experience with wound management.
• Experience with suprapubic catheters.
• Experience with lift to pivot stands and transfers.
• Reliability and dependability are essential.
• 2 years minimum experience as a caregiver (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or healthcare professional.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques.
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and individual preferences.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up.

• Experience with Dementia

• Experience working with patients that has wound management
• Experience working with Super pubic catheters
• Experience with lift to pivot stands and transfers are needed
• RELIABLE and DEPENDABILITY IS A MUST!!!
• 2 YEARS MIN EXP WITH AS A CAREGIVER (preferred)

Responsibilities:

Requirements:

• Valid certification as a CNA or Home Health Aide or completion of a recognized training program.
• Experience in providing patient care preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic understanding of healthcare practices.
• Ability to lift and transfer patients safely and comfortably.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients in need of assistance.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately.
• Reliable Transportation
