Job summary

HomeWell Care Services, Inc. is seeking CNAs and HHAs for full-time, part-time, and PRN roles to serve clients across Volusia, Flagler, and St. Johns counties in Florida.

You will provide direct patient care, assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, aid mobility, prepare meals, offer companionship, and perform light housekeeping. Must have valid CNA or HHA certification (or completed training), plus reliable transportation and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA or Home Health Aide certification or completion of a recognized training program.
• Experience in providing patient care preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic understanding of healthcare practices.
• Ability to lift and transfer patients safely and comfortably.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients in need of assistance.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately.
• Reliable Transportation

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or healthcare professional.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques.
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and individual preferences.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up.

• Experience with Dementia

• Experience with ADL's and IADL's

• Experience with limited non weight bearing patients.

• Experience working with patients that has wound management

• Experience working with Super pubic catheters

• Experience with lift to pivot stands and transfers are needed

• RELIABLE and DEPENDABILITY IS A MUST!!!

• 2 YEARS MIN EXP WITH AS A CAREGIVER (preferred)
