Job summary

HomeWell Care Services is seeking caring CNAs and HHAs for full-time, part-time, and PRN hours across Volusia, Flagler, and St. Johns counties in Florida. Candidates should engage well with clients and meet certification requirements.

Responsibilities include direct patient care under RN supervision, ADLs, vital signs, mobility and transfers, meal prep, companionship, and light housekeeping. Experience with dementia and wound management is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with dementia, ADLs/IADLs, and wound management.
• Ability to lift and transfer patients safely.
• Excellent communication with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or healthcare professional.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse).
• Assist with mobility and transfers using proper lifting techniques.
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with light housekeeping (laundry and tidying).

• Experience with Dementia

• Experience with ADL's and IADL's

• Experience with limited non weight bearing patients.

• Experience working with patients that has wound management

• Experience working with Super pubic catheters

• Experience with lift to pivot stands and transfers are needed

• RELIABLE and DEPENDABILITY IS A MUST!!!

• 2 YEARS MIN EXP WITH AS A CAREGIVER (preferred)

• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

• Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients in need of assistance.

• Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately.
