Job summary

HomeWell Care Services is seeking CNA or HHA qualified caregivers to provide in-home support across Volusia, Flagler, and St. Johns counties. Full-time, part-time, and PRN shifts available.

The role emphasizes compassionate patient care, assistance with ADLs, mobility, meal prep, and companionship. Responsibilities include direct patient care under RN supervision, vital signs monitoring, mobility assistance, and light housekeeping.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA/HHA certification or completion of a recognized training program.
• Experience with dementia, ADLs/IADLs, wound care, and non-weight bearing patients preferred.
• Ability to lift and transfer patients safely and comfortably.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of a registered nurse or healthcare professional.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Monitor and record vital signs (BP, temp, pulse).
• Assist with mobility and transfers using proper lifting techniques.
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and preferences.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks (laundry, tidying).

• Experience with Dementia

• Experience with ADL's and IADL's

• Experience with limited non weight bearing patients.

• Experience working with patients that has wound management

• Experience working with Super pubic catheters

• Experience with lift to pivot stands and transfers are needed

• RELIABLE and DEPENDABILITY IS A MUST!!!

• 2 YEARS MIN EXP WITH AS A CAREGIVER (preferred)

• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

• Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients in need of assistance.

• Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately.
