Job summary

HomeWell Care Services in Florida is seeking CNAs and HHAs for full-time, part-time, and PRN hours to serve clients in Volusia, Flagler, and St. Johns counties.

Provide direct patient care under supervision, assist with activities of daily living, monitor vital signs, help with mobility and transfers, prepare meals, provide companionship, and assist with light housekeeping. Valid CNA or HHA certification required; 2+ years preferred; reliable transportation essential.

Qualifications

• Must have CNA or HHA certification.
• Experience with dementia, ADL/IADL care and wound management.
• Ability to lift and transfer patients safely and comfortably.
• Excellent communication with patients, families and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under RN or healthcare professional supervision.
• Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
• Monitor vital signs and document results.
• Assist with mobility and transfers using proper lifting techniques.
• Prepare and serve meals per dietary needs.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks.

• Experience with Dementia

• Experience with ADL's and IADL's

• Experience with limited non weight bearing patients.

• Experience working with patients that has wound management

• Experience working with Super pubic catheters

• Experience with lift to pivot stands and transfers are needed

• RELIABLE and DEPENDABILITY IS A MUST!!!

• 2 YEARS MIN EXP WITH AS A CAREGIVER (preferred)

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or healthcare professional.

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

• Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.

• Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques.

• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and individual preferences.

• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients

• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up.

Requirements:

• Valid certification as a CNA or Home Health Aide or completion of a recognized training program.

• Experience in providing patient care preferred.

• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic understanding of healthcare practices.

• Ability to lift and transfer patients safely and comfortably.

• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

• Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients in need of assistance.

• Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately.
