Job summary

HomeWell Care Services is seeking CNA and HHA caregivers for full-time, part-time, and PRN hours in Volusia, Flagler, and St. John counties. Candidates should engage compassionately with clients, have dementia and ADL/IADL experience, and be able to assist with mobility, wound care, and catheter management.

Requirements include CNA or HHA certification and reliable transportation. Experience preferred; candidates must demonstrate dependability and the ability to work independently while

Qualifications

• Experience with dementia care.
• Proficient in assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental ADLs (IADLs).
• Experience with patients with limited non-weight bearing status.
• Experience with wound management.
• Experience with suprapubic catheters.
• Experience using lifts and pivot transfers.
• Reliability and dependability are essential.
• Minimum of 2 years as a caregiver preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of a registered nurse or healthcare professional.
• Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
• Assist with mobility and transfers using proper lifting techniques.
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks like laundry and tidying.

• Experience with lift to pivot stands and transfers are needed

• RELIABLE and DEPENDABILITY IS A MUST!!!

• 2 YEARS MIN EXP WITH AS A CAREGIVER (preferred)

Responsibilities:

• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

• Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients in need of assistance.

• Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately.
