Job summary

HomeWell Care Services in Volusia County is seeking caring CNAs and HHAs for full-time, part-time and PRN hours to support clients in their homes.

Responsibilities include direct patient care under supervision, assistance with ADLs, vital signs, mobility transfers, meals, companionship and light housekeeping; reliability is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with dementia care.
• Proficient in ADLs and IADLs.
• Experience with non-weight-bearing patients is a plus.
• Experience with wound management.
• Experience with suprapubic catheters.
• Ability to lift and transfer patients safely.
• Reliable and dependable caregiver.
• 1+ year caregiver experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of a registered nurse or healthcare professional.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Monitor and record vital signs (BP, temp, pulse).
• Assist with mobility and transfers using proper lifting techniques.
• Prepare and serve meals per dietary needs and preferences.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with light housekeeping (laundry, tidying).

• RELIABLE and DEPENDABILITY IS A MUST!!!

• 1 YEARS MIN EXP WITH AS A CAREGIVER (preferred)

Requirements:

• Valid certification as a CNA or Home Health Aide or completion of a recognized training program.

• Experience in providing patient care preferred.

• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic understanding of healthcare practices.

• Ability to lift and transfer patients safely and comfortably.

• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

• Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients in need of assistance.

• Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately.
