Job summary

HomeWell Care Services is seeking caring CNAs or HHAs to join our team in Volusia/Flagler and St. John counties. We offer full-time, part-time, and PRN hours with a focus on patient comfort and safety.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, ADL assistance, vital signs, mobility and transfers, meals, companionship, and light housekeeping. Requires CNA/HHA certification or recognized training and 2+ years of caregiving experience.

Qualifications

• Must have CNA or HHA certification or completion of a recognized training program.
• Experience with dementia and ADLs/IADLs is preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare basics is expected.
• Ability to lift and transfer patients safely and comfortably.
• Reliable and dependable attitude is essential.
• Two years of caregiver experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or healthcare professional.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
• Assist with mobility and transfers using proper lifting techniques.
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and tidying.

• Experience with Dementia

• Experience with ADL's and IADL's

• Experience with limited non weight bearing patients.

• Experience working with patients that has wound management

• Experience working with Super pubic catheters

• Experience with lift to pivot stands and transfers are needed

• RELIABLE and DEPENDABILITY IS A MUST!!!

• 2 YEARS MIN EXP WITH AS A CAREGIVER (preferred)

• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

• Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients in need of assistance.

• Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately.
