Job summary

DeAngelo Contracting Services is seeking highly motivated Herbicide Applicator Technicians to spray right of ways, roadsides, and control weeds and brush. Equipment includes spray trucks, ATVs, backpack sprayers, or hoses.

DOT inspections, equipment maintenance, and calibration training are part of the role. Candidates should have a high school diploma, be 21+, possess a valid driver's license with a clean MVR, and be willing to travel 4–6 weeks at a time.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 21+ years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license with 5 years clean MVR.
• Must be able to travel away from home for up to 4–6 weeks at a time (hotel paid, per-diem).
• Herbicide application experience preferred but not required.
• Commercial Pesticide Applicators license preferred: Category C6, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Spray right of way, roadsides, weeds, grass and brush using spray truck, ATV, backpack sprayer, or hose.
• Complete all DOT required truck inspections.
• Keep truck and equipment clean and organized.
• Calibrate spray equipment (training provided).
• Learn basic weed, grass, and brush knowledge and safety requirements.
