Job summary

DeAngelo Contracting Services is seeking highly motivated Herbicide Applicator Technicians responsible for spraying right of ways, roadsides, removing weeds, trimming, and cutting grass and brush. This is accomplished with a spray truck, an ATV, a backpack sprayer, or by dragging a hose.

Requirements include a High School Diploma, 21+ years old, a valid driver’s license with a clean MVR, and the ability to travel 4–6 weeks at a time.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 21+ years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license with 5 years clean MVR.
• Able to travel away from home for 4–6 weeks at a time.
• Herbicide application experience preferred.
• Pesticide applicator license (Category C6) preferred, to be obtained within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Spray right of ways and roadsides to control weeds and brush.
• Calibrate and operate spray equipment as trained.
• Complete DOT truck inspections and keep equipment clean.
• Travel and work away from home for extended periods as needed.
• Adhere to safety requirements and customer expectations.
