Apellis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking a Hematology (PNH) Account Manager based in San Francisco, CA, or Portland, OR.

The role focuses on representing the company to key healthcare professionals and accounts within the territory, building trust in the company, its science, and the products. You will create and execute account plans, identify regional influencers, map referral networks, and lead activities such as speaker programs and marketing tactics while collaborating with cross-functional

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required
• 4+ years of biotech/pharma sales and account management experience
• Experience in Hematology/Oncology or rare diseases preferred

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain proficiency in disease states, patient and clinic experience, market landscape, and product.
• Drive revenue by achieving sales/marketing objectives.
• Serve as primary commercial interface with key accounts, managing overall customer experience.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts and stakeholders (physicians, nurses, staff, management).
• Establish and execute business plans for key accounts aligned with franchise strategy.
