Job summary

Apellis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking a Hematology (PNH) Account Manager to represent the company to key healthcare professionals and accounts across a defined geography.

The role focuses on building trust, developing account plans, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to map referral networks and drive TDM strategies. Candidate will bring 4+ years of biotech/pharma sales experience, knowledge in Hematology/Oncology or rare diseases, and a proven ability to manage relationships with

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in a relevant field.
• 4+ years of biotech/pharma sales and account management.
• Experience in Hematology/Oncology or rare disease preferred.
• Proven track record of sales success and account planning.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain proficiency in disease states, patient and clinic experience, market landscape, and product.
• Drive company revenue by achieving sales and marketing objectives.
• Serve as the primary commercial interface with key accounts and overall customer experience.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts including physicians, nurses, office staff, and management.
• Establish and execute business plans for key accounts aligned to strategy and resources.
• Collaborate with patient services, field access, medical affairs, and operations to meet objectives.
• Share field insights with home-office and participate in workshops and readouts.
• Operate with integrity within regulatory guidelines and Biogen values.
• Travel up to 75% domestically as required.
