Apellis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking a Hematology (PNH) Account Manager to represent the company to key healthcare professionals across an assigned geography.

The role focuses on building trust in the company, its science, and products, while developing account plans and collaborating with commercial teams. Ideal candidates will have 4+ years in biotech/pharma sales, with experience in Hematology/Oncology or rare diseases preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of biotech/pharma sales and account management experience.
• Experience in Hematology/Oncology and/or rare disease is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain proficiency in disease states, patient and clinic experience, market landscape, and product.
• Drive company revenue by achieving sales/marketing objectives.
• Serve as the primary commercial interface with key accounts.
• Develop and maintain relationships with physicians, nurses, office staff, and management.
• Establish and execute business plans for key accounts aligned to franchise strategy.
• Assess treatment patterns and referral networks.
• Collaborate with patient services, reimbursement, medical affairs, and operations.
• Share insights and best practices with the team.
• Communicate field insights to home-office teams and participate in workshops.
