Job summary

Apellis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking a Hematology (PNH) Account Manager based in Los Angeles, CA. This field sales role represents Apellis to key healthcare professionals and accounts, building trust in the company, its science, and products.

You will map referral networks, develop territory plans, and collaborate with multiple internal teams to drive account objectives. You will travel domestically up to 75% of the time, enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, and participate in speaker

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree
• 4+ years of biotech/pharma sales and account management experience
• Experience in Hematology/Oncology and/or rare disease is preferred

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain proficiency in disease states, patient and clinic experience, market landscape, and product.
• Drive company revenue by achieving all sales/marketing objectives and goals.
• Serve as the primary commercial interface with key accounts, being accountable for the overall customer experience.
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of and relationship with key accounts and stakeholders (physicians, nurses, office staff, management).
• Establish and execute business plans for key accounts aligned with franchise strategy and resources, communicating plans to leadership.
• Assess treatment patterns and referral networks affiliated with key accounts.
• Collaborate with patient services, field access, medical affairs, and operations to achieve account objectives.
• Share insights with home-office and participate in workshops/readouts as needed.
• Operate with integrity within pharma regulations.
