Job summary

Apellis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking a Hematology (PNH) Account Manager to represent Biogen in key accounts across the field, develop and implement account plans, and drive revenue while collaborating with multiple teams.

The role requires 4+ years in biotech/pharma sales, knowledge of hematology/oncology, and a willingness to travel up to 75%. The base salary range for this role is $138,000-$200,000, with a comprehensive benefits package and field-based work arrangement.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required.
• 4+ years biotech/pharma sales and account management experience.
• Experience in Hematology/Oncology and/or rare disease preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain proficiency in disease states, patient and clinic experience, market landscape, and product.
• Drive revenue by achieving sales/marketing objectives.
• Serve as primary commercial interface with key accounts, accountable for overall customer experience.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts including physicians, nurses, staff and management.
• Establish and execute business plans for key accounts in alignment with franchise strategy and resources; communicate plans to leadership.
• Assess treatment patterns and referral networks within key accounts.
• Collaborate with patient services, reimbursement, medical affairs, and operations to achieve objectives.
• Share field insights with home-office and participate in workshops and insights readouts as needed.
• Travel up to 75% domestically depending on territory.
