Kirby-Smith Machinery, Inc. is seeking a Technical Communications Coordinator to provide expert technical support to technicians and staff and to deliver technical training programs.

You will troubleshoot complex equipment issues and liaise between the dealership and equipment manufacturers, ensuring the service team maintains high technical knowledge. Qualifications

• Five years of heavy equipment maintenance, repair, or technical support with two years in training/tech communication.
• Strong knowledge of heavy equipment systems and components.
• Ability to interpret technical data, manuals, and maintenance procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in technical documentation and reporting.
• Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Strong safety focus and awareness.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to travel to multiple sites including field locations.
• Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes.
• Experience providing training and technical guidance to service staff.

• Educates to enhance service team proficiency.
• Liaises with manufacturers for accurate technical information.
• Prepares and disseminates technical bulletins and manuals.
• Supports field technicians with on-site guidance.
• Diagnoses field issues to minimize downtime.
• Documents recurring issues for product improvement.
• Performs other duties and ensures reliable on-site attendance.
