Job summary

Kirby-Smith Machinery, Inc. is seeking a Technical Communications Coordinator to provide expert technical support to technicians and staff, develop and deliver training programs, and serve as the liaison between the dealership and equipment manufacturers.

The role ensures technical knowledge is current and effectively shared across the service team. The position emphasizes troubleshooting, training delivery, and documentation to improve equipment uptime and service quality while supporting field

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 5+ years in heavy equipment maintenance/technical support; 2+ years in training/technical communication.
• Strong technical knowledge of heavy equipment systems.
• Proficient in interpreting technical data and manuals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read electrical/hydraulic schematics.
• Willingness to travel to various sites.
• Safety-conscious with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical support to technicians and staff.
• Develop and deliver technical training programs.
• Serve as liaison between dealership and manufacturers.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of equipment models.
• Prepare and disseminate technical bulletins and manuals.
• Assist in diagnosing field issues to minimize downtime.
