Job summary

Granite Construction is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead heavy civil construction projects up to $15 million in size. The role directs project execution, manages budgets, schedules, and coordination with estimators, subcontractors, and owners to deliver profitable outcomes.

Applicants should have a BS in a related field and 3–5 years of progressive project experience in heavy civil environments, including paving, dirt, and grading, with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Three to five years progressive project experience in heavy civil environments.
• Minimum five years experience in paving, dirt, and grading.
• Knowledge of paving, underground, concrete and grading practices.

Responsibilities

• Forecast project revenue and costs to meet profitability goals.
• Coordinate with estimators to establish project budget.
• Lead estimating efforts for bid-to-build processes.
• Coordinate with project team to develop start-up plans and meet schedule.
• Provide accurate construction reports for continuous improvement.
• Ensure safe, efficient, profitable project execution.
