Qualifications

• BS degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent work experience in heavy civil construction.
• Five to ten years progressive project experience in heavy civil environments. Minimum of five years experience in paving, dirt, and grading in either private or public environments.
• Knowledge of paving, underground, concrete and grading practices; understanding of union agreements and prevailing wage issues.

Responsibilities

• Forecast project revenue and cost to meet profitability goals.
• Coordinate with estimators and project controls to establish budget and bid plans.
• Lead estimating efforts on vertically integrated projects to ensure accurate bid-to-build process.
• Manage resources with project team to meet schedule and startup plans.
• Ensure accurate construction reports and profitability, and comply with safety initiatives.
