Job summary

Granite Construction is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Vista, CA to lead complex heavy civil projects with budgets up to $100M. You will direct overall project direction, forecast financial outcomes, and manage a team of up to 10 staff while coordinating with estimators and project controls to hit schedules and profitability.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in heavy civil construction, with 5+ years in paving, dirt, and grading; design-build experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of ten (10) years progressive project experience in heavy civil environments.
• Minimum of five (5) years experience in paving, dirt, and grading in either private or public environments.
• Large Projects Superintendent experience preferred.
• Design-build project experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct overall direction, completion, and financial outcomes of complex projects worth $50–$100M.
• Forecast revenue and costs to meet profitability goals.
• Manage up to 10 full-time staff including hiring and reviews.
• Coordinate with estimators to establish budget and bid plans.
• Ensure safe work environment and maintain client relations.
