Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior experience/knowledge with hearing aids is a plus.
• 2+ years in a health care environment is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience is required.
• Professional verbal and written communication is required.
• Strong relationship building with patients, physicians, and clinical staff is essential.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook is preferred; knowledge of HIPAA is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients with a positive and professional attitude.
• Place outbound calls to schedule follow-up tests and consultations.
• Collect patient intake forms and maintain files/notes.
• Perform benefit checks and verify insurance details.
• Assist patients, check in/out, and process payments.
• Assist with equipment repairs under supervision of a licensed professional.
• Prepare deposits and submit daily reports to finance.
• Support sales of accessories and patient services.
• Manage orders, verify pickups, and input data into the system.
• Maintain and clean equipment and instruments.
• Submit equipment and facility requests.
• Manage inventory and stock levels; submit supply orders.
• Assist with planning and logistics for community outreach events.
