Duties include scheduling, verifying benefits, and supporting physicians and patients in a fast-paced environment. Required are strong communication skills, healthcare exposure, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Prior HIPAA knowledge and EMR/EHR experience are a plus; no nights or weekends, with comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates degree preferred.
• 2+ years in a health care environment preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
• EMR/EHR experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients professionally and schedule appointments.
• Verify insurance benefits and details.
• Assist with payments and patient intake forms.
• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments.
• Process insurance authorizations and benefit checks.
• Maintain patient files and records.
• Assist with inventory, supplies, and equipment maintenance.
• Support event planning and community outreach activities.
