Job summary
AudioNova, part of Sonova, Hilton Head, SC, is seeking a Hearing Care Coordinator to support clinical staff and patients. You will schedule appointments, verify benefits, and assist with patient care within the clinic.
This role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no nights or weekends, plus medical and retirement benefits. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in healthcare and strong communication; familiarity with EMR/EHR systems is a plus.
Qualifications
- 2+ years in a health care environment preferred.
- Previous customer service experience required.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations preferred.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients with a positive and professional attitude.
- Place outbound calls to schedule follow-up tests and weekly evaluations.
- Collect patient intake forms and maintain files/notes.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
- Complete benefit checks and insurance authorization.
- Provide first level support to patients and process payments.
- Assist with repairs under supervision of a licensed Hearing Care Professional.
- Prepare deposits and submit daily reports to finance.
- Manage inventory and stock; submit supply orders as needed.
- Assist with event planning and logistics for community outreach.
